Thursday 16 July is The Day – Join us for the Big Hub Launch!
We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone to the Big Hub Launch party Thursday evening, 6.00–9.00pm (note slightly later start time from previous posts) , at the former Wolvercote Young People’s Club, St Peter’s Road.
Come and celebrate the start of an exciting new chapter as we officially launch The Wolvercote Hub – a welcoming community space where people of all ages can connect, thrive and belong, while keeping young people at the heart of everything we do.
At 7.00pm, we’re honoured to welcome John May CVO OBE DL, Deputy Lieutenant for Oxfordshire, who will officially declare The Wolvercote Hub open.
Throughout the evening you’ll be able to:
✨ See our exciting ideas for the future redevelopment of the Hub and grounds
✨ Tell us what you think and help shape our plans
✨ Meet trustees, staff, volunteers and local organisations
✨ Enjoy music, activities, refreshments and a great community atmosphere
If you’re an early riser, keep an ear out for Phil Mercer’s Breakfast Show on BBC Radio Oxford tomorrow morning, where Hub staff and members of Wolvercote Young People’s Club—past and present—will be talking about our vision for the future and our journey “From Club to Hub.” Or listen on BBC Sounds.
