The safety and well-being of all children, young people and vulnerable adults is our priority at the Wolvercote Hub and Young People’s Club. We are committed to providing a secure and nurturing environment where everyone can feel safe. Our safeguarding policies are regularly reviewed to ensure they meet all statutory requirements and effectively protect all who use the club.

Contacting the hub with a safeguarding concern
If you have non-urgent information about the safety or welfare of a child to share with the safeguarding team at Wolvercote Young People’s Club then please email safeguarding@wypc.org.uk. Please note, this email is only monitored once daily when the club office is not open. It is not monitored during weekends.

Guidance on Reporting a Safeguarding Concern when the Hub office is closed
If a child or vulnerable adult is in immediate danger or at risk of immediate harm, you should contact the Police on 999.
If you are concerned about a child, you should share your concern with our local Children’s Social Care Service by calling their Out of Hours Emergency Duty Team (EDT) 0800 833408.

If you need an immediate response or if you are concerned for a child or vulnerable adult’s immediate safety or welfare please contact the Police.
